convection. Here's the 48 frame wind and 6 hour precipitation run. It's nothing serious but maybe someone gets some of those delicious tropical raindrops to fall on their tongues.

It spins up what looks like at least a strong TD in the Atlantic starting at 300 hours as well. Starts at about 25n 55w and heads NNE swinging around to NW.

The last few runs have put a closed low there and moved it NNE, but this is the first run I've seen which actually spins up a tropical system.

Of course, we all know better than to put much credence in the GFS that far out. :-)
