TWC STORM STORIES, Ivan and Grand lagoon

Anyone who thinks they they can ride out a hurricane in an evacuation zone should watch that show tonight about Grand Lagoon. There were people that had lived there for many years and "THOUGHT" they would be ok since previous hurricanes had not flooded them. They assumed since Fredrick in 1979 and Opal and Erin in 1995 had not seriously affected them they would be OK during Ivan. However. anyone that watched the show tonight saw how wrong they were. If you are told to evacuate, DO SO!!!

Well said. That was a pretty powerful episode tonight. I'm still shocked that so many people didn't evacuate.
