RECON from Biloxi will likely investigate this disturbance

#1 Postby WXBUFFJIM » Wed Jun 08, 2005 8:11 am

Satellite imaginary suggest the low is centered well west of the blob of thunderstorms over the northwestern Cairbbean Sea. This system has a tremendous influx of deep tropical moisture associated with it, especially on the east side of the circulation. A hurricane hunter aircraft based out of Biloxi, Mississippi maybe dispatched to the region to investigate this disturbance. As this disturbance slowly tracks towards the Gulf of Mexico, upper level winds will become lighter and thus there maybe an increasing potential for tropical development over the northwest Caribbean or southern Gulf Of Mexico over the next couple of days.
