Something I noticed

#1 Postby Droop12 » Thu Jun 09, 2005 12:49 am

I was looking at the IR2 Floater over our depression and I believe the LLC is fairly evident on it. But what I believe is the center looks to be almost racing off to the NNW. I could be totally wrong, but Im asking for opinions to see if ya'll see it too. Its just a random thought, but it seems as though some of the model runs tonight have really sped up our system. Could they be on to something? Regarding intensity, she looks to be fighting off shear and dry air in the S and SW quads at the moment. I think once she moves north through today, she'll be in a more favorable area to develop further. One thing is for sure, she's gonna be lopsided. All of the "good" weather will be off to the east of the center at landfall. Just my thoughts, I think I might pack in for bed tonight, I'll be on again though at 6am  Have a good night ya'll and let me know what ya think. I could be suffering from lack of sleep.

Last loop I saw a few minutes ago shows a slow N to NNW movement of the LLC.
