ABPZ20 KNHC 182229
TWOEP
TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS TPC/NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL
4 PM PDT SAT JUN 18 2005

FOR THE EASTERN NORTH PACIFIC...EAST OF 140 DEGREES WEST LONGITUDE.

AN AREA OF DISTURBED WEATHER HAS FORMED A FEW HUNDRED MILES SOUTH OF
THE GULF OF TEHUANTEPEC. CONDITIONS APEPAR FAVORABLE FOR
ADDITIONAL SLOW DEVELOPMENT OVER THE NEXT DAY OR TWO AS THE SYSTEM
MOVES SLOWLY WESTWARD.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH SUNDAY.

FORECASTER FRANKLIN

Is Beatriz on the way? Probably since condition apepar favorable for slow development. :lol:

Hopefully it develops and heads away from land.....just to give us something to track while the Atlantic is quiet.

OK really, I hope for a quiet Atlantic (like THAT's gonna happen this year, unfortunately it probably won't). But still, every once in a while, you need a fishy to track.

:eek: I'm in Orlando, so plenty of experience sitting through storms, but I'm super-green with weather and the forecasting business. Do "we" name Pacific storms?

Pacific Storms won't bother Florida... LOL

If they threaten land, it's usually the Pacific Coast of Mexico and the Baja California. Occasionally one makes it to Hawaii but the water is colder between Hawaii and where they form so they usually weaken.
