Best Time...Genesis

#1 Postby miamistorm » Sat Jul 02, 2005 2:31 pm

There are so many exciting times with the formation, mature stage, and dissipation of a hurricane, but ins't genesis the best part? There is still so much we don't know about this part of a hurricane life cycle. When a TS becomes a hurricane is another exciting moment too, but I still find genesis to be the most interesting...and that is what I think we have here. This storm is in its early formation stages and I expected at least a TD before reaching the Yucatan...it's gonna go!

I would agree that many enjoy this period of a systems life. I feel that most on this board find a rapidly deepening system approaching a coastline (Charley) the pinnacle of excitment or a cat 5 in the open ocean with concentic stadium eyewalls (Isabel). Just my opinion.
