Once in the gulf..

I think you will have a model shift well to the east. NO to Panhandle again. I think its going to enter NE of current model guidance and recurve around the high and make landfall as cat 1 near AL, MS border.

No rain for TX anytime soon...

I don't think it'll make it that far east. I'll say Western La., to Pascagoula though :)
