Normally I give this emoticon to storms when they leave: :Door:

For names that cause great damage and are likely to get retired, they will get this one though: :Can: (they are trashy storms, after all)

:Can: And any Ivan-wannabe gets this! :Can:

In any event, I would be concerned even if I lived a little outside the cone....you never know what funky turns these storms might make. One turn and *bam* you could go from being in the clear to being in the woods. I know I'd be watching this just in case if I was in Pensacola, even though I don't think it will strike there. I instead think either upper Texas or Louisiana.

P.S. The first part was in response to the "Ivan" comment by LSU2001.

"And once again he made no forecast, and I didn't bash a forecast. He just pulled keywords out of the NHC discussion and made a thread about them for reason.

End of story. Bash defended correctly, good night FCI."

He was just aming a staement that all including Florida should pay attention since a potential eastward jog could occur.
No "bash" is defensible.
Agree with it or don't but "bashing" is out of line.
Enough said, it is a long season.

this thing will end up hitting FL somehow you watch. What a dramatic shift to the right since earlier today...wouldn't be surprised if they shift it more right as time goes on as NHC is usually conservative on changes to tracks

Maybe you could lock this thread? People obviously don't realize I was just criticizing the wording of his post, and that I was not talking about the movement of the storm itself.
