New GFDL plots

Shifted slighty (almost 2.5 degrees long, what is that 150 miles or so?) RIGHT from previous run :eek:

and they will shift in different directions atleast 5 more times within the next 5 days. Don't pay too much attention to the models this far out.

Dang...I don't think I've ever seen that kind of model alignment for that kind of time frame.

They are seeing the forecast weakness in the high.

According to that graphic, 6 of the 7 models are to the right (although slightly) of the NHC forecast

Looks like our local Dennis Phillips may be on to something..time will tell. Shifts are normal. Watch for a trend. Be prepared from Texas to Florida :idea:
