HouTx...

Take in account what everyone is saying, especially the pros and the solid amateurs...

Will be days before we actually have any idea where Dennis does effect..

Yeah I know, after Cindy I wont get worked up until a storm is a day or two out. And to my understanding Dennis is a East Gulf event. I'm tired of getting stood up by these storms.

Why is this thread called "DENNIS MAJOR THREAT NEW ORLEANS to galveston"

It's a Gulf of Mexico US Coastal threat right now, period.

This animation does show Cindy Suddenly Deepening right at the coast.

LOL...Don't look at this as a situation where you are being "stood" up...

Dennis is as of now a EGOM as much as a WGOM, or even a Central America system.

Dennis is not going anywhere near NO/Houston. Looks like Panhandle/ AL problem like Ivan.

It's simply the excitment of some....I don't think HouTex wants a "Major" to impact him..

One reason I'm a bit PO, that this thread is titled the way it is....:)

yes people are jumping the gun here...it all depends on the ridge...plain and simple. Anybody from Galveston to S. Florida needs to watch this thing.
