Any Correlation Here ?????

#1 Postby WaryEye » Tue Jul 05, 2005 9:09 pm

I read today on Yahoo that there was not a SINGLE death from a tornado in April, May and June anywhere in the U.S. which is considered to be strange coupled with a lack of recorded tornadoes on top of it. They said this has not happened since 1950 .... now..... does anyone have any info on tropical activity in 1950? Is there any correlation between the # of tornadoes and the activity in the tropics or is it a dead topic? Forgive me if this has already been discussed. Here is the link if anyone wants to check it out....

Can anyone shed any light on this for me? I am curious.....
