Hurricane Dennis Thoughts...

#1 Postby Stormtrack03 » Thu Jul 07, 2005 6:56 am

I haven't posted a lot lately, so I thought I give y'all some thoughts I have on Dennis...

As per the 8 am edt, Dennis is now a 105 mph hurricane (Category 2) with pressure at 968 MB. The quick pace intensification is not good news for Jamaica, surrounding islands, and Cuba, as well as central and eastern gulf coast residents. Looking at the latest satellite loop, it appears that Dennis is even getting more organized as it heads west - northwestward. I beleive its too early to speculate where it could make landfall in the U.S, but I say storm preperations for gulf coast residents should be finished by friday or saturday, and that the people be ready to evacuate if necessary. This could be a real monster and it is best to stay out of the path of this storm.

Who would have thought we would be discussing this in early July? I am truly amazed, simply amazed!
