Morning cup o' Dennis...

#1 Postby TPACane04 » Thu Jul 07, 2005 8:08 am

Sat presentation: a little shaky on NW flank, but a possible eye feature may be a few hours from popping out. Again, the convection on NE side is not really wrapping hard, and may be getting hung up due to land interaction, and not sure how much this will change as Dennis skirts north coast of Jamaica. He is a big and health storm, per recon this morning.

models: everyone has seen the east move of the models, which may or may not be valid, depending on who puts their two cents in. again, I have preached patience in earlier posts and when we get the 5pm advisory this afternoon, that is when I will really start locking in on a landfall hotspot.

My landfall window as of now is Big Bend west to Mobile. Let's see what Cuba does to Dennis overnight into Friday.
