Hubby and I are picking up supplies for a homemade single garage door brace we plan to construct over a few beers tonight. Other than that, I could own stock in Home Depot and Wal-Mart...we are all set.

get block ice if you can...
50 lbs block of ice will last 4-6 days in a good icechest...

I got 75 lbs this morning. You have to go to an ice house to get it.

Check out Icey-tek coolers - supposed to keep temp (32 degrees F) for a week-10days.

Have to wait till the last minute to get ice or it won't keep. Don't have much storage space. 'Course, then it might be all gone  :(

Oh, we'll likely have outages, no matter how far away Dennis stays. Outages are a way of life here in West Central Fla.

I need more booze. I'm down to a 6pack of beer which I will be tapping shortly. A trip to Sav-A-Center tonight is mandatory.

Go the http://www.icey-tek.com and search for a dealer in your area. The place to look would be a fishing supply/bait and tackle store, as that's who seems to sell them. They make them in many sizes, from personal to meat locker.
