It is NOT a TS. They have only sampled ONe quadrant . :D

In that was the northeast quad which is the most powerful of them all. That means the recon messed up or something.

Not. There are no 972mb Tropical Storms that are purely tropical. 90 mph is about right for this pressure.

Was just snorkeling at Sombreo Light the other day. Gorgeous, clear blue water and flat calm seas! Suppose that's a bit different today....

Today Show just had someone on from Key West(I'm still half asleep), said the power was out everywhere in the Lower Keys and had been for several hours... some tree and powerline damage, and minor structural damage(probably roofs).
