we will see. the longer dennis stalls the deeper th trough will get. lets hope it recurves

The trough will lift out before TD5 gets close enough to be influenced. This is headed for the Caribbean. (IMHO, of course)

That will make it more of a threat to FL because she will go further north then the high will rebuild and send it on a W-WNW track.

Im gonna wait for TD 5 to become better organized before I try to predict the track but right now i think it will stay far enough south where it will not be picked up by the trough. If the LLC re organizes further N then its a different story.

IMO, this will not make the central or western carribean. I see this as a East Coast from MIAMI to the Outter Banks.

welcome to the board. a trough causes upper level southwesterlies which would turn td5 ne. will it happen? we will see

Typically a trough is like a wall a tropical cyclone bounces off off. The winds ahead of the trough or often S to SW and this makes storms recurve.
