Ridge building in across the country...

If the storm slows down until this weekend, it will be forced to cross florida... Speed is our friend.

BTW, that extended ridge is huge! Bermuda to California...

Thanks eric, great image. Like that SW-NE orientation of the Atlantic high center; better for us it seems, not so for central-northeast Florida.

Forgive the stupid question. When I look at that is the ridge what is outlined in blue? What does all the green and yellow mean?

wait wait wait Eric slow down. What exactly is going on? Can you explain that a bit further for me cause Im a bit confused about all this?
