94W.INVEST in WPAC

#1 Postby Coredesat » Wed Aug 10, 2005 1:10 am

And I just posted a thread for 93W:

(2) THE AREA OF CONVECTION PREVIOUSLY LOCATED NEAR 19.8N
112.2E, IS NOW LOCATED NEAR 20.0N, 111.5E, APPROXIMATELY 200 NM SOUTH-
WEST OF HONG KONG. RECENT ENHANCED INFRARED SATELLITE IMAGERY INDICATES
THE LOW LEVEL CIRCULATION CENTER (LLCC) IS MODERATELY ORGANIZED AND
PARTIALLY EXPOSED. UPPER LEVEL ANALYSIS REVEALS MODERATE TO HIGH VERTICAL
WIND SHEAR AND WEAK UPPER LEVEL DIVERGENCE DUE TO AN UPPER LEVEL LOW NORTH
OF THE SYSTEM. MAXIMUM SUSTAINED SURFACE WINDS ARE ESTIMATED AT 10 TO 15
KNOTS. MINIMUM SEA LEVEL PRESSURE IS ESTIMATED TO BE NEAR 1008 MB. THE
POTENTIAL FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A SIGNIFICANT TROPICAL CYCLONE WITHIN
THE NEXT 24 HOURS REMAINS POOR.
