John Morales is confident that Miami is completely out the possibilities, but he would like to see Irene go over 25.5 N to be extremely sure.

wasn't it Frances last year (don't think it was Jeanne) that was supposed to go to our north? I just keep remembering that...

I think if i remember right Whdh said that Irene needed to be watched carefully, even up here

IMO I have a feeling from Jax to South Carolina has the largest chance of being impacted... But that still remains to be seen as the forecast is greatly uncertain at this point

I missed the 11PM broadcast to see what Skip Waters said. I generally listen to him as he most of the time gives his thoughts on what may happen and why - not just mimic what the NHC and NWS says. That's for any type of weather.

Our local TV mets said we will not be effected whatsoever by Irene...
