I did a search, however found little about the subject. For anyone interested, I found three excellent books, the first one having been mentioned inside a post last year:
The Ship and the Storm - Hurricane Mitch and the Loss of the Fantome by Jim Carrier. Includes a lot of information about NHC, forecasting, Hurricane Hunters. Very well researched, and a must read especially for anyone considering a Windjammer cruise.....
An Embarrassment of Mangoes by Ann Vanderhoof. A very well written delightful book about cruising and the dream of escaping the rat race. Two years of cruising the Caribbean.
A Trip to the Beach by Melinda and Robert Blanchard. Like the book above although IMHO not quite the same writing quality, its escape the rat race and live in the Caribbean. This one's about creating a restaurant from scratch on Anguilla and then Hurricane Luis arrives.
