Pine Island, Broken clouds, winds out of SSE estimated at 20-25. Tides will be an issue here on Pine Island. Water is encroaching on the seawall caps in Matlacha already and High tide isn't untill 3 pm. Most houses in the older sections are elevated only a ft. or two above the top of the cap, some are even less. I imagine there is already furniture up on concrete blocks inside some houses. It doesn't take much, to put this place underwater. Will report closer to the tide. TheShrimper. If the sun comes out, possibility of firing strong storms later on as well.

I agree about winds. I do believe we'll see more wind. Hopefully rain lets up.

I am not reporting flooding at this point. Still moderate rain. Lower portions of Pinellas county, like Shore Acres, are probably flooded. Gusts to 35 mph

Not looking promising there. RGB shows Barry is veering right so the heaviest convection is going to pass just N of or right over Tampa-St. Pete.

Clearwater Beach reporting sustained winds 31 mph, 36 gust at Bradenton, looks like right along the coast we could get into low end tropical strom force winds coming up in the next few hours.

Looks like a turn to me. Hard to be sure since convection is obscuring the LLC.

Looks like the rain is almost over in Pinellas.

Anyone have a link to the Mobile home park flooding story in Seminole?

The LLC is right on the coast of Indian Rocks Beach and Clearwater Beach. Very clear blue sky right on the coast with dark skies all around. If your in this area take a look.
