NcentralFlaguy wrote:Thanks for the graphic Aric, I guess now its just a matter of what direction drifts around, if any. nevertheless it gives us something to discuss, even though my better half just came in the room wondering out loud how this can interest me.(she is not a big weather fan..oh well)

lol i know how that is.. people dont get it... till you been through a hurricane and learned to enjoy it and not be afraid.. its just another pointless thing to people........... there is some marginal increase of dep convection on radar lets see if that continues..

yeah i see that, other than the dry air intrusion you alluded to earlier, i dont see much in the way of inhibiting factors (well maybe the water temp is a little cool. well actually i guess those are pretty big factors.

I wonder how far south this low will drift to determine the weather here in Southern Florida? I'm thinking a non event for us but not the case for central and north Florida.

The only thing I don't like is sunny weather and mid 90's otherwise 80 degrees with thunderstorms I prefer.

I agree, I live in central FL. So maybe, I'll get some rain off of this as it crosses into the gulf.

you are right , i thought i saw a 79.5 or something earlier a little east of jax, but now they certainly are in the 80's. on a side note, i finally have a wv loop and the steering currents have indeed collapsed and the anti-cyclone over the low so ....hmmm interesting.

p.s guys remember the slope of florida's east coast goes SSE as you head south.

so a DUE south movement will take it over land

Looks like the low is moving due south or west of due south on the Jax radar.

its hard to say since there is not that much storm activity near the center...its going to drift thats for sure .. during the nexr few hours.. before some general motion starts

i think your just seeing that rain band rotate south ... giving the appearance that its moving in that direction .. im just going to wait .. it looks as though some convection is starting to fire a little more on the east side.. and maybe it will spread around to the north and give us a reference point to see if its moving ..
