I'm thinking it may remain an interesting feature for a while, given that the convection holds. But I'm also thinking that development would likely only occur around 50-60W if any were likely to happen. The chances are it doesn't do anything, everyone knows there are plenty of good looking waves each year and only a few develop. What's interesting is that it's still July, and they are already looking very good.I won't jump to the models scenarios since CMC has showed around 3 CV storms forming, and while the waves looked good they didn't.The CMC is showing another CV storm at 144 hours now too, while moving this feature West while keeping it weak, which I think is the likely scenario

Another thing about the low is its above 10n not below that latitud.

It wasn't just that analysis and my opinion is my own and you cannot fault me for it. It's an opinion shared by a few others, and I distinctly remember a Pro-Met on the Dolly board I believe, border-line flaming him for his tendency to, paraphrased, 'wish cast'.

You're joking, right?

Perhaps if I lived in North Carolina I'd say the same thing, but, here in South Florida, we are happy that the poof machine is up and running...

What's the significance of 10N?

Important because if a system is moving in a low latitud, between 30w and 50w,and between 10n and 13n,it has a better chance to affect the Lessr Antilles, then a low that is more north in latutud,as it has a better chance to avoid them.

What kind of hypocritical statement was that, stevetampa? :) But I'm going to leave before getting into an argument with some little children.

Oy - anyway, the wave is still too weak to classify, so, before anyone starts predicting it's landfall, let's see what happens to it, since it's more likely to dissipate than anything else...

Of course, we are now moving into August, so, climatologically things do get more active, so, we'll see...
