Uh, the pressure appears to be dropping again. Does this most likely mean that the inner eye will collapse soon and the new 50nm diameter appear soon?

That is not good... that pressure is a Cat 5 pressure. Once the cycle is done the winds will respond(probably late tonight), and if the pressure stays this low, we're likely to have a Cat 5 again.

This is bad.

This is exactly what I was afraid of. Satellite presentation is improving, and the stalling pressure rise has now reversed.

Good lord, when does the bad new stop?

Now the windfield is probably expanding to 20-30% larger than before, and we are just starting what could be an extended intensification cycle. Welcome to the real world. It's harsh, but nature really doesn't care.

wow...was not expecting a pressure leveling at this point.....so we now have a 914mb, 130mph storm.......interesting.

This is real confusing ... the ERC sure isn't done yet, so how can the pressure be levelling off?
