I'm thinking this thing has something like a 80% shot at becoming a depression and a 60% for a storm.

I'm going to increase my estimated chance of development from 40% to 60% now. I'm still not all that sure though...

Chance of becoming:

Tropical Depression - 60%

Tropical Storm - 50%

Hurricane - 20%

Major Hurricane - 5%

i'm thinking i'm awfully glad the SST aren't in the 85-88 degree range where this thing is trying to spin up
