Chacor...I submit that you moderate and be the judge of this game...I speak for myself only...If you have the inclination and the time to do so...please offer your thoughts....anyone else agree???.....

Here I am thinking it's in the Atlantic, and I never checked the Pacific.

Here's another discussion:

HURRICANE --- HAS CONTINUED TO WEAKEN AND ESTIMATED HIGHEST WINDS ARE 80 MPH IN SQUALLS NEAR THE CENTER. [...]

HURRICANE WARNINGS REMAIN DISPLAYED ALONG THE MISSISSIPPI COAST AND EASTWARD TO ST. MARKS FLORIDA BUT WILL BE LOWERED LATER TODAY.

Yes.

Side point: I really can't believe, like many, it was ever a Category 5. The periods of strengthening and weakening would have been very extreme.

--- IS BECOMING INCREASINGLY BETTER ORGANIZED...AND THE STORM IS
IN A QUITE FAVORABLE ENVIRONMENT FOR INTENSIFICATION. INDEED...ALL
FIVE OF THE EXPERIMENTAL CRITERIA FOR RAPID INTENSIFICATION IN THE
SHIPS MODEL ARE MET. THE ONLY LIMITING FACTOR ON INTENSIFICATION
IS THAT THE STORM SHOULD RUN AGROUND IN 6-9 HR.
