The East Pac should have an invest in 48 hours or less, if I were a guessing kind of guy...

Over at other big thread, Hurakan posted AccuWx graphics showing Caribbean. That is almost like the Sports Illustrated kiss of death. 90L is weeks away, if I were betting money.

Yeah it might be interesting to do this same poll but with 90E as the main heading because that seems like its going to happen first

Wednesday morning. Looks like some of the energy from the EPAC is trying to move into the Carribean.

Two more months for the first invest? I know you think an El Nino is going to develop, but its not here yet!

Not even in a strong El Nino would the first invest not be declared before that date.

I choose Friday and beyond for the first Atlantic invest. I'm surprised it hasn't already come up (not this system, just overall).

If the system in the Caribbean continues to increase in organization and 90E moves over land in the next 12 hours, then 90L should be here tomorrow.

On recent VIS and Vapor loops, it looks like 2 vortices embedded in a broader circulation. Each vortex looks like it will be over land for the most part for at least the next day, while the broad circulation appears to be headed along the spine of Central America. I think there will be too much land involvement over the next couple days at least. I'm thinking it will take at least until this weekend for anything to develop, if at all. I had to pick Friday or Beyond.

Great analysis for a first time poster here. Welcome to Storm2K. Anyways, I picked Friday and Beyond as well.

Even though I don't think that 90L will be up from this specific system... Perhaps some energy left over from it will become 90L. Already starting to get a little interesting and we have even officially started. Of course then again we get an early season storm once in a while. Glad to be back here for this season.
