I say August 8th Western Carib Bertha will form....

I too think it's going to be a slow year. Lord knows we need it!!!!

I remember last September I was mentioning the season ending quickly and everyone was rolling their eyes and saying "we still have October and November, there will be more activity"...........

I've been wrong many times, but least year it was nice to be right....I do think we will get back to a really active cycle again though, but hard to say how many more years before that happens......

Always up for learning more about the science behind the storms...what are the factors in your analysis that point to a slow season ahead?

We had a La Nina winter now conditions are neutral meaning we'll have an above average hurricane season.Convergence if we were in El Nino I would agree with you.

2nd week of July
SW of PR. Then moves over Jam or close moving NW, the NNW the N to make landfall around the Miss. coast

I guess that's my "unprofessional guess", too exhausted to really think it through...gotta get some sleep. :double:

I will probably read this tomorrow and say, "WTF?"

this has to be one of the sillyest forums yet, no one knows so why even make such a statement, talk about what is happening not what MIGHT happen or when something MIGHT happen, you people can not predict our next tropicl system but good day to all of you

I know this is a silly thread as well as you do but its just for fun and during the slow period I think its fun seeing where people might think a storm will develop. No harm no foul. It will be interesting who gets the date and position right once Bertha forms.
