Fernand is out. Peak intensity 50 kt.

Based on the surface obs, radar timing and SFMR data before peaking, I would have set the peak intensity higher. I think Fernand intensified very rapidly given the radar observations, and the elevation-adjusted highest winds (converted to 1 min) would support 52-53 kt or so.

Still no Henriette or Humberto?

I know there is no such thing as 62 or 63 mph. But if given the chance, I would estimate that as Fernand's peak (okay maybe 65 mph). :)

Humberto should be coming out soon, they've reached the letter 'F', so it's just Gabrielle to go now.

Gabrielle is out.

Interesting note: had it not reformed near Bermuda, we would have had a named tropical depression... http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/data/tcr/AL072013_Gabrielle.pdf

Very strange. They also upped the peak to 100 km/h. Sadly, I wasn't home to see its peak. :(

Next is Humberto!!! :jump:
Let's see if Humberto made it to Category 2 or even 90 mph. Even if it didn't, I want to see its TCR!!! But the reports I want to see the most are for Henriette and Raymond in EPAC. They were the two strongest hurricanes in 2013 thus far.

Gabrielle's TCR essentially means that it became a TS after Humberto, meaning #7 was H and #8 was G... I guess we can toss that little oddity on to the rest of this bizarre season.

If Gabrielle did not reform near Bermuda it would remain a TS south of Puerto Rico IMO

EPAC numbers increase to 18/9/1 as a result of Kiko's upgrade.

Seeing that Pewa, Unala, and 3C were all Central Pacific/WPAC storms, where can I find their reports? Thanks.

Unfortunately, this was the saddest storm of 2013 here in my opinion. It stopped unexpectedly just before hurricane strength! :( :( :(

WAITING ON HENRIETTE, RAYMOND AND HUMBERTO!!! :jump:

Well as they said, Narda was a difficult storm to forecast. Tropical cyclones are strange things sometimes

I have seen that on the CPHC's reports, Henriette is there. Does this mean that NHC will not release a TCR? :(

NHC will still release one. CPHC releases summaries and reports for anything that crosses into their area of responsibility.
