I think this area near Bermuda will become a brief subtropical storm, so yes.

I'm waiting for as long as possible so when Ana forms very soon (90L right now) I can say yes to prove it . . . :lol:

Yes, and no considering the advances in satellite weather observation and climate change. I think it is well justified to start the Atlantic hurricane season on May 15th, which also provides parity with EPAC.

Even more, if you go back to 2007, only four years--10-11 and 13-14--had nothing develop before June 1.
