What do we have here?? Anything??

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Glob in Gulf

#25 Postby Suzi Q » Mon Sep 15, 2003 4:58 pm

FYI, we here in Houston are suppose to have a cold (cool) front move through here either Thursday or Friday, and it's actually supposed to make it all the way off the coast. So, if Ms. Unknown Blob is still there, more than likely it would get picked up by the front and taken elsewhere. No, before you ask, I have no idea where.......I'm still just an amateur. :o

Cool Front

#27 Postby Suzi Q » Mon Sep 15, 2003 5:06 pm

Chad, I am SO with you. This supposed cool down here is fine, but to me 88 is NOT cool. To me, all references to "cold front" should be avoided unless my high here in Houston is gonna be 60 or less. Otherwise, it's still hot to me!!!!! :drinking:

At the least Florida should get another good dousing! Not that I'm really complaining since we don't have to contend with Isabel as so many others do. Thoughts are with all of you in potential harm's way. Lynn

Not Yet

#29 Postby wxman57 » Mon Sep 15, 2003 5:29 pm

Pressures are high, wind shear in the NW Gulf is high. It's something to keep an eye on in the coming week, but nothing of immediate concern.
