Thank you very much for doing this. The last map had my parents' house (in Venice Beach) right in the crosshairs. Hoping the 11 a.m. may look a little better for them, and that they won't be hit.
In fact, I'd rather that we were hit, up here, in Tallahassee, than that anyone in S Florida go through this again. We really feel for y'all up here.

Nice service skeetobite. Again people these are not his own forecast but rather the track based on the latest NHC forecast and this site has been updating fairly well with each new advisory. I used this map during Frances as well.
Skeeto (if you don't mind me calling you that
) any chance in the future you may do the same kind of maps for other areas (for example if a storm was going to make landfall in NC) or is this just a FL thing only?

Skeetobite.com provides these free maps as a street level interpretation of NHC coordinates in a fashion that anyone can readily understand.
In short, it's not our data! Just our maps!
This is great and as the storm gets closer, the maps will be a good tool.

RE:
Is there still a chance IVAN can go by the keys and get on the east of Florida coast? Gaston destroyed all my trees and some roof damage, but NHC said it was only "tropical storm" so I dont want a "cane". I am in Charleston. I know that this damage nothing compared to Florida. This board is the best.
