I would not rule out a landfall along the FL west coast near Tampa.

The current forecast is toward the FL panhandle, however with the shearing expected to continue the center may relocate within the deep convection to the east multiple times.

Regarless, the main effects will be the excessive rainfall. Even a landfall in the FL panhandle will result in a good bit of rain over most of FL
