Well, Derek has a valid point that we shouldn't be jumping the gun on calling storms by name.
I too think it's fairly close to a TS, but I'm only inferring that from the way it has looked for the last several hours plus the warm waters and good outflow.
I wouldn't be shoked if it's still only a TD. Recon will be there soon ...
