Yes maybe a break from the very active early season period is comming I hope so because if the action continues without any breaks then 1933 and 1995 will look like puppie years comparing with 2005.

To my untrained eye, it looks like if it could just make it intact to the vicinity of 20/50, conditions would get more favorable and we'd be back in business.

yeah i agree with you, but on the other hand, if this had formed, it may have broken the Streak....im speaking of course, of the streak of every Storm making landfall so far this year...Emily will make it 5 for 5.
But then if it remains this weak, it may be able to get under that Trough and keep moving Westward.....but i doubt it

Probably will get a break for a couple of weeks or so..
The strong looking disturbacnes are not making it; with rare exception; out of the far eastern Atlantic.
