Same here. Anything can change 6 days out. But, I never called him an idiot because I am not going to bash a professional met when I am just an amatuer at this weather stuff. Just disagree with him is all. But, like I said since I don't agree with him very often, I really don't watch him anymore. I stick with channel 4 and 6 mostly. But, I channel surf a lot and sometimes I still catch myself stopping sometimes when I reach channel 8 to hear what he says. The curosity sometimes kills me that I can't help it.

Good post cg and one I agree with. I don't watch 6 because they're almost all correspondant course meteorologists. Dan Milham has often been quoted in the paper stating, "If it's good enough for the AMA, it's good enough for me." I prefer getting my weather from the internet, but Fox 8 is usually the best at reporting live-situation threats and will stay on-air for hours during flooding, hurricanes and stuff long before or after the other mets switch to on-the-hour updates.

You're right Steve about FOX8's coverage. When there's a storm threatening, they're live from hours before, during, and a day or two afterwards, however, I just do not like how Bob is so in love with Vipir...it's just 1 model!
I normally watch WWL for my weather coverage when I have to. Tonight on the news, Carl Arrendondo did say that it will most likely not affect our area, thank God, but he also said we must still watch it. On the other hand, Bobby said this storm WILL NOT get into the gulf.
If he's right, I will applaud him though.
