will new track models come out soon?looks like a little further west with this one..what does everyone think about this ssw motion..totally took me by surprise tonight when i looked at the strength and swestward motion

I dont know why the SSW motion....I don't think anybody does but the GFDL... :wink:

I dont know why the SSW motion....I don't think anybody does but the GFDL... :wink:


we will be singing the praises of the GFDL for a while after its performance the past 3 days

latest images show Katrina moving more towards the west than south of due west

with it being forcast to be a TS in the gulf...wouldnt that make it track even more westward???

Considering the SW movement that the GFDL had forecast, I am thinking a Pensacola to Panama City landfall. Good shot at a Cat 3......MGC

My father is in Big Pine, last spoke at 7:00. I didn't see this coming and unfortunately neither did he.
