Try this site, will probably work much better:

http://flhurricane.com/imageanimator.php?12

I created another thread (on the bottom of the page now) about how you should not hotlink the images from that site (because those images are directly hotlinked from the original Mexican site, which is down), or from the direct Mexican sites b/c their servers are down, use this mirror site.

I'm not hotlinking. The images are being physically downloaded. It is manual. I went to bed, so I have to update it. There may be a slight jump, but it should be back shorthly

Newbie, non-weather smart person question. In the last images of the FLhurricane.com sites satelite imagesaround 10 am it appears as that the eye either is not a nicely form circle or some of the lighter blue stuff is in the eye. Why is that and what does that mean for the storm?

That site would not load in for me but the animated gif one did. Thanks wxboy. That is one impressive hurricane and eye.

Java back up. 20 most recent images. Sorry, but Java crashes if I use more.

great work there BTW - I am surprised they don't have animated as a matter of course in that area to be honest.

Great stuff anyways.

Thanks for archiving these. I've saved all the frames and playing them in a loop using ACDsee. (Renamed the images so that they are three-digits long; 001.jpg thru 111.jpg) But I'm not sure if any more radar images are going to be added to the set... think it stopped overnight some time? The whole batch currently makes a 9MB zip file.
