Look closely at the Atlantic. There is a system spinning CLOCK-WISE. Is that normal?

The center of the circulation is still half exposed. However, if the deep convection continues to attempt to wrap like it appears to be and the shear relaxes a littlewe should have our first EPAC system within 24 hours.

I have no idea why you guys say the center is exposed, it looks like convection is covering it 100%. They need to put a Floater on TD One-E.

The LLC is about a degree or a tad more west of the strong convection at 15N 100W. (advisory puts it at 15.1N 101.3W, and that looks about right to me).

Only clockwise rotation I see is the Bermuda High. Is that what you're looking at?

Oh yeah that's it, is it normal for a Clock-Wise rotation in the Northern Hemisphere?

For a high, yes.

BTW, RAMSDIS has a good closeup view, or you can zoom in on the GHCC site, set quality to 100% and zoom factor to high and click on storm in the image to load the loop.

That looks very well organized. The only question is - are the winds 40 mph or more?

Center is partly exposed, but if Arlene was a Tropical Storm with a very bad SAT presentation, then this thing should be too.

Since I'm not an early bird on the weekend, I just now saw this. TD One-E gets the EPAC on the scoreboard with the early lead. No worries; the Atlantic will get things going soon.

I also just noticed the new TWC tracking maps for this season. Very nice. The addition of the latitude lines are great, and the satellite view of land is really cool.

They timestamp the EPAC advisories in Pacific Time, not Eastern Time. The 11 AM EDT advisory was the 8 AM PDT advisory.
