it looks like it is going north-northwest right now like a fish but the forecast says it will head west-northwest... Is it interacting with the other invest? Will it eat the other invest and get some energy?

Pre-season, people called out Florence as the big one this year!

I would not be entirely surprised if the ULT picks this thing up. It is fairly evident on sat. imagery that the trough is affecting this system already

While I agree SFX that the ULT is affecting it I can not see it going N.The center of TD6 and the center of the low are about to pass quite quickly. The shear will be around for another day or so but the low pressure vacuum should fill in with high pressure quickly.

The wave behind TD6 developes and follows it.

Even though TD6 has decreased slightly in convection, the outflow is outstanding.

Whenever you have a hurricane in this area with high pressure building in, south floridians gulp.

This is not a good setup.

It seems that if the center ends up relocating to the north than this is no big dealio and should be headed out to sea. Correct????

For what it's worth, I think the wave in front of TD#6 is still showing nice convection and spin and is seperating from TD#6 as it's moving west and the TD is moving NW. I wouldn't be surprised to see 3 systems develop, the third being the wave furtherest east that is also looking good.

2 storms (maybe 3) for the price of one
Quite a busy week for the NHC I think ...
And I fully understand that you don't like these two storms. Would be a double hit ? Too far off, but you have to admit that there's a possibility.

Who talked about writing off this season ?

The chances for a "fish" type storm would go up quite a bit. Franklin made a point of this in the disco.
