I think it might be a problem with your computer because others have been getting in fine with Java. Java doesn't work well on this computer, but it works fine on my laptop. I prefer mIRC to chat though.

Well, if Berwick Bay is correct, Barry may very well be able to join the party!

I agree, its working for me.
Fact, I would uninstall Java and reinstall it. I had to do that before and it helped alot.
Also this link was posted by Calamity last year and helped alot of people having Java issues.
http://www.java.com/en/download/help/5000020300.xml

Try the link first and if no go then I would uninstall and reinstall JAVA.

Don't forget to join us in the chatroom Thursday night, May 31st. I'm gonna sticky this for now.

Here's the direct link to Java again:
http://www.stormdancing.net/network/jav ... torm2k.htm

You might want to bookmark it. For those who had it, they were still able to access the chatroom during the outage. We also posted it on Storm2k's MySpace, so if you have a MySpace account, add us as a friend.

The mIRC info you need is:
irc.stormdancing.net
port 6667

See you Thursday night! :)

I know you're in there now, but just to let others know... chat is on a completely different server.

I can't load the chatroom. The "connecting to server" message does not subside and I can't enter the server. I'm using the proper server and I'm attempting to log in via the correct process. Can anyone suggest a solution to this issue?
