Java or mIRC?

If you're using Java, try downloading mIRC. It's much better anyway.

The real fun was about 5 different people giving countdowns from 5 different clocks.

Only 5?

I am so saving the logs, I have never seen anything like those two minutes around Midnight ET.

Everyone has left or gone to sleep now, and soon I am going to do the same.

I was there, too! It was crazy around midnight EDT. I hate that I pooped out before midnight CDT (my) time. The busy day just caught up with me. That's for a fun time, y'all!

I found a solution. You should try this site. Enter your nickname at the top, and put "irc.stormdancing.net" as the server. In addition, put "#storm2k" as the channel and log in to the chatroom. It worked very effectively for me.
