Sat loop is centered on the surface vorticity clearly seen on vis sat loop, it is still getting some strong westerly shear but convection is getting closer to the surface trough.

Convection is displaced from the COC but it still may focus the energy and keep it south of Florida. Could be temporary interaction with the shear since the NHC still isn't bullish on development.

Probably more with interaction with Hispaniola and strong UL shear in the area.
A very complicated UL environment along and north of the greater Antilles thanks to the DEATH RIDGE across the central US with multiple ULLs on its way.
