Thanks derek for letting me and all know about the amended Dennis Report on the damage figure.I didn't see that until you posted it and it was already amended at December 16.Go to the Dennis Report and see the amended damage figures.

ALPHA'S BEST TRACK:
"Alpha was affected Haiti and the Dominican Republic with floods and mudslides that resulted in 26 deaths."


I think Avila made a gramatical error since that "was" in the heading of Alpha's best track isn't necessary and it sounds wrong!

It could be out tomorrow, or 3 months from now. Nobody knows...

Whether its a cat 5, that is also debatable, but the NHC big board (apparently completed with post storm analysis peak data) showed it staying at 155 mph.

The same board showed Cindy being a hurricane, and Wilma at 185 mph.

Be patient. Wilma's coming later, we just don't know when. Give NHC some time and the reports will start coming in. :D Remember they are still dealing with Zeta right now.
