You download a chat program for the sole purpose of being able to attend a "countdown to hurricane season" party.

Or for that matter, if you actually HAVE a "countdown to hurricane season" party.

Over one year later and still going strong. 8-)

If you cancel all of your plans on May 31st so you can sit by the clock and countdown to Hurricane Season, you might be a Hurricane nut.

If you counted down the final hours until midnight. You might be a Hurricane nut.

Especially if you do it twice, for Eastern and Central time zones. :P

You might be a hurricane nut if you counted down for both the EST and CDT timezones!

I did it for GMT EDT and CDT. I wasn't in the room for CDT though.

If you're girlfriend/boyfriend is getting jealous because you spend more time on Storm2k then with him/her. You might be a Hurricane nut.

I'm still working on that one. :grrr:

I think whirlwinds might count - I've known a few women who qualify as tornadoes, too...

There were a few counting down for Mountain time. You know how those hurricanes really nail the Mountain timers.

If you dream about storms that have yet to form, you might be a hurricane nut.

(Chantal was actually featured in my dream last night. Beautiful storm, though apparently not particularly strong or significant. Don't go by that though, as my dreams hardly ever seem to mean anything. :P )

All your friends tell you that you should have skipped Law school & have gone back for a Meteorology degree instead.

You also might be a nut if your sole purpose for looking forward to the Summer months is to track a storm.

Storm2k's Talkin' Tropics board is the first page you refresh in the morning & the last one you check in on at night.
