so now the next 24-48 hours will get very interesting....I could see this thing continuing to blow up and gain strength as it moves over the warm 88-89F waters in the Bahamas....the waiting game begins but I'm going to be finishing my preparations hopefully tonight
hopefully as it approaches florida it will have to deal with land interaction and maybe that will impede some rapid development but alot of the Florida posters wanted it now they can have it!!!!
While it sits over the Gulfstream, logically it should strengthen. But remember that both Jeanne and Frances crossed the gulf stream, and weakened. Frances especially, she sat for a couple days right over it, and certainly didn't blow up.

Gotta remember I only had access to hearsay, and my police scanner connected to my car. Most of the city (tamarac) was without power with Frances 2 days out, and Jeanne 12 hours out. So I beg for your forgiveness, 3rd hand info not so good LOL.
there's a very ominous feeling in the air here in S. Palm Beach county...the wind is stronger than it has been all summer out of the E and I have seen no birds out at all...that is weird.
the center is starting to wrap up as some of you have mentioned...tonight I expect it to bomb late night just like it did last night. Also tropical systems tend to bomb more in the late night than in the day.
