No, it's time to continue strengthening for Daniel. The poor sea creatures aren't mad because they are under the water mostly so no harm done!! Also, weakening is not a option right now since he is annular.

If it manages to cross all the way into the west pacific at hurricane strength, YES!

It would be like Hurricane/Typhoon John, it lasted a whole month and traveled the most.

This is very close to the peak of the EPAC season, so a near cat 5 at this time there is not that uncommon. EPAC peaks much earlier than the Atlantic

Those poor sea creatures are affected mentally. I think Daniel may count as noise pollution. For us it's like living in an apartment trying to sleep and the people upstairs are throwing a huge party (loud music, banging etc.). Daniel has proven to be a nuissance, so now his job is done. He can now wither away.

about 1700 miles ESE of Hilo Hawaii

I don't like the latest trends from the storm or the models. I am far mroe concerned about Daniel than I am tht disorganized mess in the GOM

No Fact. After 140w the responsability to do the advisories goes to the Central Pacific Hurricane Center and the NHC finishes it's work with that system.

The only nuissance Daniel is, is that he didn't come sooner! His job will be done once he reach's the WPAC and becomes a CAT5. You can tell how hard that job will.

Me too. When a pro met is worried, then I think everyone should be worried!

Wow...

That alone isn't even enough for this storm. Heck, the word "wow" belongs to Bud.

Oh yeah I forgot to say this:

Hurricane Daniel is 4 mb away from becoming the strongest hurricane in the Eastern Pacific Ocean since Hurricane Kenna back in October 2002!!

Sorry, but Dan is under orders from Mother Nature, and only she can tell him when his job is done.

I see the deep convection (red) is trying to wrap around the eye again. Daniel wants to be known as a CAT5...
