Happy Atlantic Season 2007 to everyone. I too, hope it's a safe season for all!
Hopefully Andrea hasn't set the tone for this year. I wonder if 4 of the 5 deaths mentioned in TWO today were from a boat enroute from VI to Annapolis. Does anyone know? I can't find a report on Andrea by NWS yet.
The experienced crew probably encountered the pre-Andrea low pressure system's hurricane-force winds and 40+ft waves enroute. An EPIRB signal was received, but the boat and crew were never found in an exhaustive USCG effort, which included rescue of others whose boats went down in the same storm. RIP
