The government was considering putting Wake up for auction. I'm not sure if they're still doing that.

Looks like Ioke will pass just to the north of the island so we won't see the highest winds even if the recording instrument survives.

The storm looks to be a 130 to 135 knot system. But reports dont' yet prove it yet...This must be a very compact inner core.
