The convection is developing over the center. I expect it to be a tropical storm by 11am.

I have felt all along that there was an interal battle going on between Franklin and Stewart. Even in the TWO's, its seems as though they was battling each other. Like I said earlier, I got the feeling it was killing Franklin to write that first advisory. JMHO One of he forecasters admitted they had interal battles sometimes, I just think this is one of those cases.

Looks like the LLC has reformed under the deep convection...Looks to me that this is very close to tropical storm strength.

1. Tropical Storm Chris
2. A more Bullish discussion.
